Details

Designed and built by our master wheel builders, the 1475 gram SL climbing wheelset is ideal for riders under 175lbs who desire a competitively priced training wheelset that can hold its own in the weight category while also being as durable as possible. Weighing in at an impressive 1475 grams, the SL wheelset comes with Kinlin XR19 rims laced to the incredibly durable DT 350 hubs, by way of Sapim CX-Ray spokes.

Kinlin XR-19w Rims

Produced from Kinlin’s own Niobium-Aluminum alloy, the XR-19w is a lightweight, classic style rim that utilizes stainless steel eyelets for ease of spoke installation and a sleeved and pinned design to guarantee durability. XR-19w rims are all anodized black and feature a perfectly machined sidewall for exceptional braking.

DT 350 Hubs

Quickly becoming the budget minded workhorse, DT 350 hubs are both reasonably priced and exceptionally durable. Ask any bicycle mechanic about the traits of any DT hub, and surely the first thing they’ll tell you is about its ease of serviceability. All of this simultaneously comes in at a 149g and 252g package front and rear.

CX-Ray Spokes

The lightweight, high performance flagship of Sapim’s spoke line, regularly abused by sprinters, triathletes, and downhill mountain bikers alike. With a fatigue life 3 times that of a traditional stainless spoke, and nearly 50% better tensile strength, the Sapim CX-Ray is the “go-to” spoke for professionals.
