Extralite UltraFront SX Hub

Extralite's SX front hub is one of the lightest front hubs available, and makes some significant improvements over its predecessor, the Ultrafront SL. Relative to the SL, the spoke flanges of the SX have been moved out 4mm on each side, resulting in increased lateral stiffness of the complete wheel. Also, the hub shell, flanges, and axle ends have been reduced in size to save 12g over the Ultrafront SL. As with all Extralite products, the finish work on the hub shell, flanges, and axle is immaculate.

The SX features an easily adjustable bearing preload micro tuner. It is imperative that the micro tuner be properly adjusted to avoid damage to the bearings, axle, or the micro tuner itself. Due to the nature of this system, the hub is directional and must be oriented correctly in the fork. The hub shell is marked to indicate proper orientation.
