A unique offering in the world of mountain biking, the Extralite Gara Chainrings allow a 2x9 ring set-up on traditional triple cranksets. Using a 104 BCD in a 4 bolt pattern, the 42t/28t ring combination is constructed using 7075 T6 Aluminum and CNC'd to extreme tolerance. The end result is precise shifting with minimal weight, at just 82g for the combination. Further weight savings are achieved by the use of only the male side of the chainring bolts. Great upward shifting performance is achieved with the introduction of a 15 degree chainramp in 8 places on the 42t ring.
