DT Swiss Freehub Conversion Kit

Details

DT Swiss offers freehub kits for their 190, 240 and 350 series hubs. These kits allow simple, tool-free conversion between Campagnolo and Shimano-compatible freehub bodies. DT's hub design allows this conversion without the need for replacing the axle or redishing the wheel. These kits are also an excellent replacement part for freehubs with worn bearings or heavily notched splines.

Instillation

To convert your freehub, start with removing the drive side end cap. If removal is difficult, a skewer may be inserted through the opposite side of the hub and angled to contact the end cap's inner surface. Once contact is made, a mallet may be used to tap lightly on the skewer end. The freehub will slide easily off the axle. Keeping the arrangement of the drive clutch and springs, insert the new freehub and end cap onto the axle.
