Details
The Aero.99 Saddle, manufactured by Dash Cycles, is simply the lightest fully covered and padded saddle we've encountered. Despite its minimalist and race-specific design, the Aero.99 is relatively comfortable thanks to its proprietary AeroCell padding. Covering this padding is an ultra thin layer of white synthetic leather. Underneath the padding, there is only carbon fiber. For maximum strength and security, the saddle's construction features continuous hand-laid fibers with no after bonding of the shell or rails.

The Aero.99's shape may be described as multi-use; while the rear end possesses a definite location for sit bones, the remainder of the saddle's forward length is relatively flat and wide. This intentionally shaped nose favors riders (such as triathletes and time trial racers) who will scoot forward on the saddle during long, sustained efforts.

Installation
This saddle is equipped with 7 mm round rails, and is only compatible with seatposts designed for this dimension. The rail surface is 51 mm long for ample adjustment range.
