Chris King R45 Rear Hub

Chris King's latest offering aimed at competitive cyclists and weight conscious riders. The R45 is a revamped version of the Chris King Classic road hub. The R45 (or Swift as it was originally titled) features the same timeless and proven Chris King design with a few modifications aimed at making it faster, lighter and overall more 'peloton worthy.'  New titanium Drive and Driven Rings are substantially more quiet than their stainless predecessors. Updated features include:

• Redesigned low drag bearing seals
• Titanium Drive and Driven Ring, machined with 45 rather than 72 points of engagement
• Highly machined hubshells with flange windows ala the high flange Campy Record hubs of yesteryear 
• Completely user serviceable internals and bearings

As with all Chris King components these are entirely machined and assembled in Portland, Oregon.  King remains the only hub manufacturer in the business who turns out their own bearings.
