My 20/24 wheelset with Soul Kozak hubs and XR-200 rims has held up pretty well. Depending on your weight, I'd suggest a higher spoke count (or a beefier rim, such as the XR-270). 20/28 is not a bad option for most folks, and I'd highly recommend 24/28 for anyone over 170 lbs. We only currently have a single 28 hole hub in stock with a Campy freehub body. If you need a Shimano freehub, give us a call. We can easily swap it out.

We've built many wheel sets with the Soul Kozak hubs. I'm not sure what wheel set in particular that you are talking about. Feel free to contact us with any questions: 520-624-3045 Ask for Richard.

Thanks.

What kind of tool did you use to press the #699 sealed bearings back into the 2010 Soul Kozak front hub? I have a front hub from a different manufacturer that also uses #699 bearings. The Wheels Manufacturing Front Wheel Bearing Press does not include a drift for a bearing that is 20mm in diameter. I am very interested in any information that you can send to me. Thank you.
