A native Tucsonan, Kyle D’Auria traded his skateboard for a bike when he was fifteen. That summer he went from wearing a hand me down chamois, riding his Mother’s 30 year old 10 speed, to buying a modern road bike, and the rest was history. Having dabbled in road and mountain bike racing, Kyle can be found matching his white socks to his white shoes while not forgetting to “power clash” the rest of his kit, and racing under highly auspicious team names such as “My Other Bike is a Skateboard,” or, “Tall Pink Ducks,” as he knows his only competitive edge is mockery. Working in bike shops in one way or another since 15, he now focuses on the creative quieres of the Fair Wheel Bikes website, writing, and taking photos. He is currently in pursuit of the most lucrative college degree of all, Fine Arts.
