Nice collection, I think I like the Colnago the best.

I can’t believe that you actually have 3 different SRM’s. That’s quite the investment!

I like the Colnago the best too. I have always wanted a Colnago CX bike…

Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking?

That is why all my race bikes are Al… Though all three SRM’s were bought second hand, so not quite the outlay they could have been!

The Colnago was a good buy! CX has only just starting to take off here in Australia the last couple of years, and after years of racing road and track I was keen to have a try at something new. Someone I knew on a local triathlon forum posted up the Colnago for sale. He had only used this bike infrequently as a commuter and as he had a baby on the way was clearing out a few of his bikes. Including the Ultegra crank and ceramic BB I only ended up paying $700!

Sorry Pete, but these wheels are still needed for racing. Raced the State Masters IP last weekend and will be racing the National Track Masters IP in three weeks…

CX bike has had an upgrade with new crank and shoes. Unfortunately I broke my collarbone and wrote off the Fuji racing on the track right before the start of our CX season (I went over the bars at 55km/hr when the rider in front of me crashed), so haven’t raced the whole winter!
