Detail
Ashima Reaction Brake cable and housing kit. Lighter and smoother than standard cable/housing sets. Each Brake cable kit includes enough housing for one bike, 2 teflon coated cables, sealing liner and patented fer-flex ferrules. A typical Ashima brake housing setup is on average 30-40 grams lighter than a comparable Shimano/Sram/Campagnolo housing set.

Cable Housing Detail
Ashima brake cable housing replaces the heavy steel wire wrap of traditional cables with a light, strong and flexible kevlar jacket. The housing is lined with a PVDF liner for smooth friction-free movement of the cable.

Cable Detail
Each kit includes 2 stainless steel brake cables. 19 strands with slick black teflon outer coating giving it a slippery finish.

Ferrule Detail
Each kit comes with Ashimas patented Fer-Flex ferrules. This is a sealed cup and ball ferrule that reduces friction in the lines by allowing the inner to sit at a different angle than the outer ferrule housing for a smoother routing.
