The Excellight SSC is Ambrosio's finest road clincher rim, and is designed to be built into lightweight, yet durable, high spoke count wheels. For this reason, the Excellight is an excellent rim choice for high mileage training or foul weather wheels.

This rim features double eyelets to reinforce the spoke holes and increase the long term durability of the complete wheel. The finish work includes an attractive black anodized surface overlaid with permanent laser-cut logos. The sidewalls are machined flat and parallel for consistent and smooth braking performance.

Ambrosio rims are precision-manufactured in Italy.
